R. CRAWFORD
IAN R. CRAWFORD practices in the areas of taxpayer
representation and qualified and non-qualified employee benefit
plans. After graduating from Brown University in 1966, Mr. Crawford
received his Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University in 1969.
In 1977 he received his LL.M in Taxation form New York University
School of Law. He is a member of the Bar of the States of New
York and Connecticut.
The services Mr. Crawford provides
to his clients cover such specifics as the design, analysis
and implementation of all forms of qualified and non-qualified
employee benefit plans; advice regarding the timing an taxation
of distributions from pension, profit sharing and 401(k) plans
and from IRS's; advice on all ERISA issues; tax planning,
and advice for individuals and corporations before the Internal
Revenue Services regarding assessments for income, withholding
and other taxes, and the preparation of Offers in Compromise
to reduce tax liability. In New York, Mr. Crawford also practices in residential real estate.
Mr. Crawford is one of the twenty-five
consultants recommended by CEO's as a "resource"
for non-qualified retirement plans in a nationwide survey
conducted by the American Research Company.
