Robert A. Singewald
Robert A. Singewald, of counsel to the firm, practices in the areas of residential and commercial real estate, business law including purchases and sales of business operations as well as serving as counselor to such entities on an on-going basis, wills, trusts and estates.
A Juris Doctorate graduate with honors from the George Washington University School of Law in 1967, Mr. Singewald received his B.A. in Communication Arts-Journalism, from the University of Notre Dame in 1964. He was admitted to practice in Connecticut and before the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Singewald was also admitted to practice in the State of Virginia in 1967 but limits his practice to Connecticut. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Regional Bar Association of Stamford/Norwalk. In continuous practice in the Town of Wilton since 1967, he has also served the community in various positions including as Chairman of the Council on Social Services, counsel to the Charter Revision Commission, member of the Wilton Police Commission, President of the Wilton Kiwanis Club, Vice President and Board member of the Wilton Family Y. He has also served as a member of the Judicial District Grievance Panel for the Fairfield Judicial District which is charged with investigating and enforcing the Code of Professional Responsibility that governs attorneys.
A Connecticut native, Mr. Singewald resides in Redding with his wife, Marianne. As to personal interests, when the day is done, so to speak, Mr. Singewald enjoys sailing and the camaraderie of friends of the Burgundy region of France.
